1st day of Slimgenics, meat …meat…MEAT! Starting off with 2 hard boiled eggs and ½ orange in the morning (3 fish oil pills). Lunch was 2 chicken breasts that I cooked/boiled the night before and roasted chicken with TONS of broccoli at Famous Dave’s (hubby wanted food). I had the lemon roasted ½ chicken and 3 SIDES OF BROCCOLI. It was sad, the waiter asked what sides I wanted, I said only broccoli, he then asked if I wanted the cornbread and corn on the cob, I said no just broccoli…so he said OK broccoli it is. Then when they brought the food his like OK I have broccoli and a side of chicken…funny yet sad. Dont forget the min of 80oz water.
2nd Day! Once again 2 hard boiled eggs and 1/2 orange. Blew through a bag of raw fresh(ish) green beans throughout the day. Lunch was the other half of my orange and 1 1/2 chicken breasts I cooked in the morning, snack was 2 cups (ish) of peeled shrimp and polishing off the green beans. To my shock I was hungry all day long and I was never happy with what I was eatting or ate...FOOOOD yelled my belly...feed me Simore! Dinner was 5 turkey sausage patties (I thought it was burger honestly). Still hungry but I ate all my food!!!! I just keep reminding myself that they told me MORE than once, "the more you eat the more weight you will loose."
3rd Day was hard...MEAT MEAT VEGGIES. Got sick of meat...Went to SlimGenics for the Nutrition class. I was late but it was OK. There was a man in the class with his wife that was pissed about the cost, the practice and everything however his wife put him into check- it was awesome. The non-awesome part was when they weighed me and got upset that I gained 3 pounds!! My bad you told me to eat all the meat and veggies and YOU get mad because I did what you said! I got hounded "what did you eat?"
**still slick of meat. Dinner was Salmon and Brocolli from Cheddars down the street (blah I really dont like thier food but its cheap www.cheddars.com)

What to say? “adpofighuspohg aoigfjdspg dofjgg !!!”

That is what I said to myself during my Slimgenics consolation today. I got a promise that I would lose 26 pounds in 12 weeks and have another 12 weeks to maintain the weight and learn to live life without Slimgenics…48 weeks total for losing the weight, maintaining the weight and managing the new lifestyle habits, those are the 3 phases of the “program.” I talked with Judy who charged my credit card twice (by accident she said she was lost in conversation with the receptionist-great excuse) so that was a great start. I then was under the assumption that my “starter kit” included a series of snacks, soups and bars as they had been listed on my yellow “product receipt”  by JUDY. I got in the car and realized that I was missing some items,  I am then told that they were “suggested” items and not things I actually bought…HOWEVER things that were in my starter kit WERE listed on the “product receipt” as well…WFT?

I am in for a long haul and started off on a fantastic foot with the mixups and confusion…AND to make it better they have the mandatory nutrition classes 2X’s a week with 2 times 10:30am and 5pm on tues and thrus…so people with M-F jobs that get off at 6pm are SOL…like me!

OK so I weigh 171 pounds…hope to lose 26 pounds taking down to 150 (which is still overweight for my height) and the “startup cost” was $460!!! That’s right I didn’t Ssss-ttt-uder $460 and my 1st born child, that does not include the needed snacks and other shenanigans that I am sure they will bring up.

Monday is the day! I have setup a online meeting for Slimgenics (gotta get my $50 off, save every bit I can). I will admit finically this isn’t the best time for me to be doing this, however if I don’t do it now I may never. The only reason I am considering this is because my mother and her husband have both lost over 40pounds each in the last 6months without exercise and diet only. Yet recently I learned that my friends girlfriend (whom is smaller every time is see her)has been on the Slimgenics plan and has lost over 50 pounds and is now moving to their vegetarian diet plan.

I have heard horror stories of the UPFRONT COST of Slimgenics, so next post will be my horror story.
