Will You Survive? Protect your brain and run for your life. This is one race where your legs giving out are the least of your problems. Run For Your Lives is a first-of-its-kind event, one part 5K, one part obstacle course, one part escaping the clutches of zombies — and all parts awesome.

Runners will navigate a series of challenging obstacles throughout a 5K course in an attempt to reach the finish line — all while avoiding zombies. At the end of this adventure race, you get to celebrate survival (or zombie transformation) with live entertainment and music, local celebrities, vendors, food, and of course, beer!"

8 Hours in the beating sun, cloudless sky and tree free terrain let me with burn skin, a red and white complexion in addition to blood stained running shoes (I wish I wore my hiking shoes for this). I registered as a zombie since it was only $25 rather than the $50ish and I loved it! Not only did I get a professional ZOMBIE makeover but I got a free race from it too (just wasn't timed but I still got a medal). The course was fun more than difficult, the part that I did struggle with was the HEAT!. Yes they had warm water and shade tents every so often however since there were so many people we did "stack up and back up" in lines, waiting for the obstacles, standing in the heat...getting sick from the direct sun. That part was awful. However after that little "bump" it was great. When I was a Zombie for the second half after the run I did watch someone try to dodge a zomie and roll into a ditch, breaking something (knee or ankle) and we found ourselves stuck as the did NOT have a radio to call the first aid tent or anyone in charge there so 2 zombies had to sprint 1/2 mile to a water tent who may have (and did) have a radio. not a pleasant moment. We did carry on with our zombie duties to learn that some runners where straight up bitches...I'm sorry if I'm suppose to take your football flag do NOT head butt me, push me or ninja chop my arm...we only touch the runners flags and the runners DO NOT TOUCH THE ZOMBIES...its a rule posted at the start...Zombies have feelings too..

My journey into the outside world!

day 5 of my Brazil Butt lift "supermodel" slimdown (like a mini course before the main 6 week workout) and I am hurting and feel sore in areas I never knew possible.  I have yet to make it though an entire 27minutes workout...Due to that my ego is not really feeling great. I can climb a Colorado 14ner (however I was 15pounds lighter) yet I cannot make it through a 27minute straight workout.

Unfortuntally I had some GI medical issues, the cause i still do not know. Due to this i could/can only eat certain foods without upsetting my GI system. Sadly the foods that I can eat without pain are processed carbs, some meats and veggies...SO I am cutting out carbs all together. I am not sure if its a gluten thing or what so I'm going to wing it.

Starting back on the diet and workout plan, since I have been sick i have sadly gained ALL the weight back...now sitting at 5'4" and 170lbs...

However this time I have my husband doing this with me :)  he wants to make it a competition but I am just happy to have him along for the ride.

Bad Moo Moo

Notmilk.com is a great informational site aswell is "the Skinny Bitch" diet book. Now I do enjoy cheese
and dairy however a few hours ago I ate a “Love it” size at coldstone (I don’t
even know the calorie count on that)…I am soo sick right now from dairy
overload…then I thought, “why are humans the only animal that drink milk after
childhood? Let alone milk from another animal”?

Almost…I’m almost there…well like half way there…
Down from 171lbs to  155.5lbs now…Added more protein and the kickboxing cardio should help as well.
We shall see. SlimGen did make it clear to me that I only have one week of wieghloss left, however I dont think thats fair since I was stuck at the same weight for 3 weeks (not cool people) and I had to figure out myself that I needed to add a protien and drop a startch. BOOOOOOOO money stealers!
I like the image below from Prince and the Frog, shes almost there! HA
