My Jenlett has inspired me to get into shape and get out in the world! She is working so hard to accomplish goals that most people are too lazy to do. She hikes mountains and she is working towards running in the Boston Marathon (hosted by B.A.A http://www.baa.org )!

But I need to start SMALL! Although I would love to hope off the couch and run a marathon it’s physically not possible. So to start small I plan to run a HALF marathon by the end of the year.

To start my way to a half marathon I registered for a mini race! Upside I will be out in the fresh air and getting a workout. Now the downfall, it cost money and I just noticed it’s a 5MILE not 5K…so its about double of what I was expecting to run..lol oh well, hope I can finish!

GO FROSTY’S FROZEN FIVE!

Outcome: Time 1:25:17 for 5 Miles (5th from last to finish-I finished that's what matters)
I have learned that water is not always the best thing to keep in a water bottle. Gatorade or a Sports drink is a better choice for the body and tummy (that pukey and light-headed feeling).
